Henry Urand

Henry is a Para Triathlete and current member of the British Triathlon World Class Program. He has won international medals representing British Triathlon in both World Para Cups and World Para Series. Henry was born with a left hemiplegia, however this has challenged him to overcome barriers and he relishes the chance to showcase his resilience.

Henry’s main aim for the season is to represent Team GB in Para Triathlon at the Paris 2024 Paralympic games.

Henry is the 2023/24 British Triathlon PTS3 National Champion in both Triathlon and Duathlon, and has won the overall British Super Series title for PTS3 men in 2023. 

Prior to being a Para Triathlete, Henry was on the British Cycling Para Foundation program where he developed a long lasting passion for the bike which has translated into triathlon.

Alongside elite sport, Henry is a student at Loughborough University studying Economics and has completed a placement year working at Amazon. Henry is constantly looking for partners and sponsors to support his ambitions to win medals at the highest levels.
